Inside a former factory building, you’ll discover an extensive collection of Vespa models, from the very first prototypes like the “Paperino” and MP6, through decades of classic and rare editions.
Example of Romanesque architecture, with its origins stretching back to the 10th and 11th centuries. Tradition holds that this is the very spot where Saint Peter first landed in Italy en route to Rome.
Not huge, it offers engaging sights like sharks, sea turtles, and colourful fish, plus a touch pool for the kids.
It’s truly a centrepiece of the city and well worth a visit if you’re making the trip to Livorno. It’s housed in a striking, large historical building from the late 19th century, impressive even before you step inside.
